藝瑯國際將于2017年5月7日舉辦"折疊的肖像"龐茂琨新作展，由黃篤擔任策展人。本次展覽將呈現藝術家龐茂琨近期創(chuàng)作的7件油畫和31件素描、色粉等作品。
　　龐茂琨新近創(chuàng)作的肖像畫給人以一種熟悉的陌生感。他的圖像源于經典繪畫，又疏離于經典繪畫。他的肖像畫觸及到對經典繪畫的延展，即通過對經典繪畫的挪用和重置以達到解構和建構。龐茂琨之所以用折疊的肖像，是因為它蘊涵其中的形象在時間、空間上的并存或交錯，甚至與他者的相遇和交流。這種后現代主義的方法論，不僅有對經典繪畫語言的沿用，而且也有對其圖像秩序的同化（assimilation）。雖然是肖像畫，但畫家的視點找到了圖像譜系和當代語言的交匯界面，因為挪用和重置的方法使畫面聚合了時間、空間、自我、他者、歷史、當下的內在聯(lián)系。正是在這個意義上，龐茂琨面對肖像畫進行語言的再編碼，并確立了明確的個人藝術風格。他的肖像畫涉及這樣幾方面的問題：凝視與被凝視、經典與古典化、挪用與重置。
　　龐茂琨的新作《抱貂的女人》，即對達·芬奇原作《抱貂的女人》（Lady with an Ermine，54.8 cm x 40.3 cm, Czartoryski博物館藏）的挪用與修改。在原作中，達·芬奇生動描繪了這位貴婦人瞬間轉向左方的臉龐，呈現出高貴沉靜的完美氣質，懷抱毛色光潤且栩栩如生的白貂則象征人物的尊貴身份。面對這樣一幅經典之作，龐茂琨模仿前人圖像，但又修改和補充其構圖和造型，以求新的意旨。他把凝視左方的貴婦人的雙眸修改成左眼緊閉，右眼凝視正前方，猶如擠眉弄眼做鬼臉一般。這種凝視似乎暗示出正處于畫中的人物對立面的"我們"-與畫框之外的觀看者（不同觀者）凝視的相遇和交流。除了這一俏皮式變化，她的衣著則被畫家刻意增添了一件披在身上的黑色皮夾克，其隱喻的時尚性和當代性不言而喻。值得注意的是，龐茂琨充分利用光線和陰影把婦人的頭顱和臉龐處理的優(yōu)雅而柔美。然而，仔細觀察，他似乎有意把貴婦人撫摸在白貂上的手拉長，變得修長而優(yōu)美。他以挪用和戲仿之法在應戰(zhàn)經典和重現經典過程中延展或重構出新的圖像語言。所以，他的作品是關于繪畫的繪畫。
　　龐茂琨創(chuàng)作的《委拉斯貴茲的客廳》（180x280cm 布面油畫 2017）是對委拉斯貴茲于1650年畫的《教皇英諾森十世肖像》挪用、重置和修正。追溯原作中的人物，他是1644年登基的羅馬教皇英諾森十世（Pope Innocent X）。教皇邀請委拉茲貴茲繪制了這幅肖像。在這幅肖像中，畫家準確抓住了人物瞬間復雜的內心和精神狀態(tài)，既表現了教皇剎那間流露出堅定兇狠狡猾的神情,又通過刻畫他放在椅子上兩只軟弱無力的手表現了其精神的虛弱。另一方面，畫面上火熱的紅綢緞渲染了宗教般的莊嚴感，而白色的法衣和紅色的披肩形成了鮮明的色彩對比。然而，龐茂琨以給經典畫面注入荒謬性來改變其話語秩序。也就是說，他把自己畫入與教皇對談的狀態(tài)，這種修正改變了原畫自身的內涵，似乎暗喻了宗教問題的討論--今天歐美與中東的沖突，與其說是文明的沖突，倒不如說是基督教與伊斯蘭教的沖突。然而，畫家自身是否有一種佛教的象征不得而知，但至少預示著某種對話和協(xié)商的意味。這是一種荒謬式、非神圣式和補充式的戲謔和重構（如龐茂琨其它的作品《格列柯的天空》、《閱讀者》和《對應的肖像》亦是如此），其時間、空間、人物、故事等都被畫家所"篡改"或"修改"成另一種敘事，給觀者帶來了更多的想象、聯(lián)想和思考。這幅畫表現出了藝術家高超的技巧和睿智的思維。
　　龐茂琨在畫油畫的同時也畫了大量素描。他的素描和油畫一樣，屬于相對獨立的作品。然而，龐茂琨大多肖像素描源于互聯(lián)網，它使獨立的個體間的鏈接在不同的時間和空間上形成了群體的連接。他以折疊的圖像呈現了不確定性相遇所產生的可能性--暗喻著經典對當代、東方對西方、過去對現在、面對面、目光對目光的相遇、交匯、對比、對話和交流。另一方面，他的肖像畫已構成其素描和油畫的兩個主體，其素描畫得非常精到。
　　在畫面結構上，他不畫背景，只注重人物肖像本身的表現。龐茂琨還精心安排人物正面構圖，不僅把素描作為獨立的藝術創(chuàng)作，而且甚至把由習作到創(chuàng)作的傳統(tǒng)程序顛倒過來。他往往先畫油畫，后畫素描。他的素描主要以線造型，他以不涂任何調子而充分表現出光的效果。在表現明暗和逆光時，仍以線為主的圖像語言，其暗部處理接近平涂。他的素描充分體現了其繪畫性。

　　龐茂琨藝術簡歷
　　龐茂琨，1963年生于重慶，1978年至1981年就讀于四川美術學院附中，1981年至1988年就讀于四川美術學院油畫系并獲油畫專業(yè)碩士學位，現為四川美術學院院長、重慶文聯(lián)副主席、重慶美術家協(xié)會主席，重慶畫院院長，重慶美術館館長，中國美術家協(xié)會理事，中國美術家協(xié)會油畫藝委會副主任,中國油畫學會理事。

　　多年來，他一直堅持探索古典油畫語言在當代文化情境的表達與呈現，將個人的藝術創(chuàng)作熔鑄在當下社會現實之中，他總是以凝視的視角來描述現實本身，原本靜穆的古典畫風也被他賦予了一種別樣于日常的陌生感和距離感，而這樣的藝術氣質不僅僅代表著個人化風格的建構與完整，更能由此衍生出油畫藝術在當代藝術中的價值和意義。作品多次參加國內外的藝術展覽，并被海內外多個藝術機構以及私人收藏。代表作品有《蘋果熟了》、《彩虹悄然當空》、《一個滿地金黃的夏天》、《模糊系列》、《虛擬時光系列》、《巧合系列》、《光耀系列》、《游觀系列》等。

　　Pang Maokun
　　Pang Maokun was born in Chongqing in 1963. He studied in Affiliated Senior High Schoo of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute from 1978 to1981，studied in Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute from 1981 to1988; Pang received his master's degree in 1988. Currently, Pang is the President of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Deputy chairman of Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles，Chairman of the Chongqing Artists Association, President of Chongqing Painting Academy ，Director of Chongqing Museum of Art, Advisory Board Member at the China Artists Association, Deputy director of the China Artists Association Oil Painting Council, and Advisory Board Member at the China Oil Painting Society.
　　        
　　For years Pang has been exploring the possibility of classical oil painting language under current circumstances, combining his personal art creation with the social reality. His classical paintings appear distant and different from the daily life as he sets his gaze towards reality. It indicates the maturity of his personal style, which also reveals the value and meaning of oil paintings in contemporary art. His works are exhibited and collected in and out of China. His representative works include Apples are Ripe, The Rainbow is Silently Above, A Golden Summer, Blur Series, Virtual Time Series, Coincidence Series, Shining Brightly Series , Viewing the Floating World Series and etc.
