藝術家簡介

季云飛

　　1963年生于北京，年僅15歲的他考入中央美院油畫系，19歲大學畢業(yè)。
　　1986年，季云飛移居美國。紐約著名的現當代美術館MoMA收藏了他的兩幅作品，直到2002年，季云飛才開始為美國藝術界所知。當年的惠特尼雙年展是他在美國第一次重要的公開亮相。此后，季云飛參加的展覽越來越多。
    2005年是季云飛的轉變之年。他獲得了美國羅馬學院頒發(fā)的羅馬獎。羅馬學院是西方各國設立在羅馬的藝術學院。

　　季云飛的畫黃黃的、舊舊的，連他自己都說是“爛紙舊畫”。也有人評價說：“他的畫古怪，有夢幻色彩，并非表面的水墨畫，而是融合了很多西方超現實的概念。”
